Alligator Lilly — original 9 x 12 oil on canvas by Natalie Maltry
This original 9 x 12 oil painting captures the delicate presence of water lilies native to Hilton Head, South Carolina — a subject drawn from the artist’s family beach trips and memories of Lowcountry waterways. Natalie Maltry renders the floating pads and soft blossoms with a quiet, observant hand: layered brushwork conveys the sheen of water, the subtle shifts of light, and the organic textures of petals and leaves. A restrained, considered palette balances cool aquatic greens and deep blues with warm highlights, giving the composition both calm and depth. Dimensions: 9 x 12 inches Medium: Oil on canvas Subject: Water lilies (Hilton Head, SC) Artist: Natalie Maltry Suitable for intimate wall groupings or as a focal piece in a small nook, Alligator Lilly evokes a personal connection to place and memory while maintaining a refined, contemplative presence. Comes unframed; framing options available upon request. Shipping and framing details available through Studio Maltry.
